 Create a dynamic between the building and its natural surrounding.

 The shapes and design that surround us are the music accompanying tragedy and comedy.

Rem Koolhaas

Where space was considered permanent it now feels transitory – on its way to becoming.

Fragmentation used to reduce impact – divide the building into smaller pieces and arrange them so the building cannot be seen as a whole from any point of view.

The unbuilt is the fantasy that underlies everything.

The concept sketch for my final submission.

This staircase is for Givenchy. The vortex tower like staircase is to represent the luxury DNA of Givenchy. 

This staircase design for Jeff Wright's studio. One continuous metal tube penetrates through the steps not only for load bearing but also a metaphor of Jeff's  mechanism.
